Hurricane Ceramic emerges as a tribute to the craftsmanship of the first edition of Hurricane in mouth-blown glass. Cast in ceramic, Hurricane Ceramic's new texture brings a whole new life to the design, while the tactile, matte finish of the glaze enhances the natural curves and edges. The basic geometric shapes of the Hurricane collection, highlighted by cylinders of different sizes and levels, refer to the Bauhaus style design movement of early 20th century modernism.
Hurricane Ceramic is handmade by talented artisans in Portugal. Here, each Hurricane passes through several skilled hands - from casting to the final finish. With a pigmented texture captured in a matte glaze that varies in intensity from object to object, each Hurricane Ceramic emerges with its own unique character.
